The Select Board recommends approval of Article 25 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 25 by a vote of 6-0 <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Cotton <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to authorize the Select Board to grant to Eversource Energy, its <br />respective successors and assigns, a non-exclusive easement conveying the right to locate, relocate, <br />erect, construct, reconstruct, install, operate, maintain, patrol, inspect, repair, replace, alter, change <br />the location of, extend or remove primary wires, transformers, poles and conduits, together with <br />service conductors and other necessary equipment and apparatus along, upon, under, across and <br />over a certain parcel of land situated at 380 Asher's Path, Mashpee, as further described and shown <br />on Mashpee Assessors Maps, Map 61, and as "Lot 3" on a plan of land recorded at the Barnstable <br />County Registry of Deeds in Plan Book 161, Plan 39 and Plan Book 172, Page 87, and to authorize <br />the Select Board to execute all instruments and do all things necessary to carry out the provisions of <br />this article. <br />Motion passes unanimously at 8:44PM <br />Article 26 <br />To see if the Town of Mashpee will accept the provisions of Chapter 44, § 53FI/z of the Massachusetts <br />General Laws establishing the Department of Wastewater Management as an enterprise fund effective <br />fiscal year 2026, or take any action relating there to. <br />Submitted by the Select Board and Sewer Commission <br />Explanation: The proposed Utility Service Enterprise Fund will authorize the Department to operate a <br />public utility as a self-sufficient, self -funded operation at the Water Resources Recovery Facility. All costs <br />related to the operation of the utility are projected to be offset by revenues generated by user rates and <br />service fees. All surpluses of this account at the end of the year will remain with the account as retained <br />earnings. <br />The Sewer Commission voted to recommend Article 26 by a vote of 6-0 <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 26 by a vote of 4-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 26 by a vote of 7-0 <br />Motion made by Select Board Member O'Hara <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to <br />Massachusetts General Laws establishing <br />enterprise fund effective fiscal year 2026. <br />Motion passes 278 to 18 at 8:45PM <br />Article 27 <br />accept the provisions of Chapter 44, § 53FI/z of the <br />the Department of Wastewater Management as an <br />To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter 150, Streets and Sidewalks of the Town of Mashpee <br />General Bylaws by adding a new section as follows: <br />
