• Mitigation plantings along the seawall: 6 Pasture and Virginia Rose shrubs <br /> spaced 26 inches on center. <br /> • Spot grades on patio: Start at an elevation of 18 and end at 11. <br /> • Patio under spa will be lowered by 21 inches. <br /> • Flood zones moved to top of plan better visibility. <br /> • Existing spa and wall will be replaced with new ones. <br /> • New wall pulled back 1 ft. for plantings. <br /> • Pool will be drained by truck and taken off site. <br /> • Planting beds on one side of the bank will be removed. <br /> COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS <br /> • Q: What is the height of the wall`? <br /> o A: Approximately 2 feet <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> There are no public comments <br /> AGENT COMMENTS <br /> • All concerns from last meeting have been addressed. <br /> • Lowering of patio poses no stability concerns for coastal bank or river front areas. <br /> • Applicant to provide revised narrative to match the plan. <br /> • Proposed wall requires no fill material and area of previous wall will have plantings. <br /> • Overall reducation of hardscaping when compared to existing conditions. <br /> • Mitigation plantings recommendation: Clethra atnifolia (Summersweet) and Bayberry <br /> shrubs in proposed areas. <br /> • Recommendation: a negative determination with conditions prohibiting emptying of hot <br /> tub/spa water within wetlands jurisdiction and required mitigation planting species as <br /> recommended. <br /> Board of Health: Required setbacks from edge of in-ground swim/spa are 10 ft (from tank) and <br /> 20 ft (from SAS). Note the location of septic system and restrict vehicle/equipment traffic over <br /> non-load bearing (H-10) components. <br /> Wastewater: This property is pending connection to the Mashpee Sanitary Sewer Collection <br /> System. It is in the Mashpee planned phase 2 sewer extension. Once the sewer main has been <br /> installed, the property owner will receive a Notice to Connect, at which point they will have 90 <br /> days to complete the sewer connection. <br /> 10 <br />
