Unanimous. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Selectman Wyman-Colombo,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Discussion and Possible Action of Proi)osed October 21,, 2024 Town Meeting WarraW Articles with Regard to <br /> Wastewater: Wastewater SuDerintendent Jared Meader: <br /> The Select Board met with Jared Meader, Wastewater Superintendent to review several articles proposed for the <br /> October 21.,2024 Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Article#7 proposes to create and fund a full-time Facilities Wastewater Operator within the Department of <br /> Wastewater Management. The requested appropriation is $139,420. <br /> Article#8 proposes to create and fund a full-time Facilities Lead Wastewater Operator within the Department of <br /> Wastewater Management. The requested appropriation is $145,905. <br /> Mr. Meader indicated that with the size of the treatment plant 3.2 operators are required. Two positions are <br /> proposed as Mr. Meader would qualify as an operator. Currently,the Town is conducting due diligence and <br /> evaluating cost and operational efficiencies. The placeholder is prudent. It is anticipated that a recommendation <br /> with final costs would be presented to the Select Board prior to the execution of the October warrant. <br /> Article#9: To utilize funding previously approved; FY 2022 Article 19 May Town Meeting; for a groundwater <br /> recharge evaluation in the Waquoit Bay watershed for safe and responsible discharge. <br />
