Finance Committee <br />Minutes <br />August 15, 2024 <br /> <br /> <br />The Committee reviewed the Town Meeting Warrant Articles of Draft #3. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Jeffrey Pettengill to remove the HOLD on Article #1 of Draft #3 of the Town Meeting <br />Warrant (formerly, Article #3). <br />Motion seconded by Lee Smith. <br />Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Jeffrey Pettengill to Approve Article #1 of Draft #3 of the Town Meeting Warrant. <br />Motion seconded by Darlene Furbush. <br /> <br /> VOTE: Passed 7-0-0 <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> <br />Mr. Pettengill, yes, Mike Milbury, yes, Jamie Schuh, yes, Lee Smith, yes, Richard Weiner, yes, <br />Darlene Furbush, yes, Greg McKelvey, yes <br />Opposed, none <br /> <br />The Committee reviewed all of the remaining Articles that were previously put on HOLD and it was agreed that <br />they will remain on HOLD pending further information and clarification. Chair Schuh will submit a request to the <br />Town Manager’s office. <br /> <br />4. Town Charter Review Update. <br />There wasn’t any update on the Town Charter this week. <br /> <br />5. Discussion and Approval of the next Installment for the Town Audit. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Jeffrey Pettengill to approve a payment in the amount of $7,000. <br />Motion seconded by Darlene Furbush. <br /> <br />The Committee discussed this item and it was determined to be an RFP Progress Installment invoice.
