Town of Mashpee PublicHealth <br /> INC. ui 1870 l"w :v :av U xa raaaxi p a,uP v.,a r.. <br /> �- 16 Great Neck Rd North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Board of Health — Public Session Minutes <br /> Wednesday, September 4, 2024 <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Board Members Present: Absentee Members: Additional Attendees: <br /> Ernest Virgilio, Chair Zackary Seabury,Health Agent <br /> John Livingston,Vice Chair <br /> Ed Raposa,Clerk <br /> CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br /> :30 <br /> Mr. Virgilio, the Chairman, calls the meeting to order. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> • 5 Squaws Lane, Linda Cronin, CSN Engineering — variance from Title S Regulation <br /> o The proposal is to install 2 drainage systems. <br /> o Both abutters have septic systems within 25ft, requesting for a 5ft variance. <br /> o Both abutters have been notified via certified mail <br /> Agent <br /> o No concerns based on groundwater flowage. <br /> o No issues approval is recommended. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Livingston to approve the variance request for 5 Squaws Lane. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Raposa. <br /> • Roll Call: Mr. Livingston (Yes), Mr. Raposa(Yes) Mr. Virgilio (Yes). <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Documents provided: Public hearingNariance request form; Proposed drainage system design <br /> plan; Copy of certified mail receipts. <br /> • 9 Santuit Lane, Michael Borselli — Variance from Local Septic Regulation <br /> o Variance request from Section 3.7 requiring a minimum of 100ft setback from the <br /> water resource area and leaching facility. Requesting an 84ft setback <br /> o The existing property is a single-family 3-bedroom dwelling in disrepair and <br /> serviced by a cesspool located in the groundwater. <br /> o The proposed new construction will also have 3 bedrooms. <br /> Agent <br /> o Recommends approval. <br /> 1 <br />
