New Wakeboard Law in Maine: <br /> ■ During the spring meeting, potential erosion concerns were discussed. The New <br /> Maine Wake Boat Law article was read into the record. <br /> 2. Mashpee River Fish Passage Improvement Project <br /> ■ Email read into the record: The project involves improving the river from the <br /> caged dam at the lake to the culvert under Great Neck North, covering about <br /> 3,800 feet. The 30% engineering plans are expected in April 2025. The plan is not <br /> yet funded by the town and involves repair or replacement of the fish ladder, the <br /> caged dam, dredging parts of Mill Pond, and making the river more navigable to <br /> the fish. It will likely include a new culvert under Rt 130 and involves <br /> coordination with multiple State and Federal organizations. The Mashpee Wakeby <br /> Lake Committee's interests include the lake level, water quality, accessibility, and <br /> the concerns of lakefront property owners. Monthly meetings will be held, and <br /> inforination will be available online. <br /> 3.
