Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great Neck Rd North <br /> �Fp SwwQ` Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> �NiSMUW t,M1.P <br /> Mashpee Wakeby Lake Management Committee Minutes <br /> Tuesday, July 23, 2024 <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Members Present <br /> Deborah McManus — Chairman (arrived 7:09) <br /> Paul Bibo - Vice Chairman <br /> Barbara Nichols — Secretary <br /> Donald MacDonald—Member <br /> Members Absent <br /> Allison Bernhardt- Member <br /> Additional Attendees <br /> Michaela Wyman-Colombo — Select Board Liaison <br /> CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br /> 7:00 <br /> Ms. Nichols calls the meeting to order. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> • Susan Dangle—Updates the Committee on the "Float Your Boat" Boat Parade and <br /> Family Picnic. <br /> 0 14 Boats in attendance with 60 people <br /> o Picnic was held at Camp Farley <br /> o Large number of supporters along the shoreline <br /> In addition, <br /> o Ongoing concerns regarding the jet ski's <br /> o Witnessed several altercations which involved the assistance of the Harbor Master <br /> and Environmental Police <br /> o Concerned with the lack of transparency given to the Select Board <br /> o Notes the increase of activity once Harbor Master has left <br /> o Reports cutting of trees, the makeshift beaches, overcrowding of boats with <br /> multiple jet skis, and staying overnight. <br /> o Police have been notified and urge public support communicating when there is <br /> an issue on the ponds <br /> • Mrs. Wyman-Colombo suggests contacting the Town Manager to provide updates <br /> regarding the ongoing issue. <br /> 1 <br />
