Review and approve minutes— October 2, 2024 <br /> o Motion made by Mr. Raposa to accept the minutes as presented. Motion <br /> seconded by Mr. Livingston. <br /> ■ Roll Call: Mr. Livingston (Yes), Mr. Raposa(Yes), Mr. Virgilio (Yes). <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br /> 2. Review of tobacco sales violation —414 Nathan Ellis Hwy, MPG Corporation <br /> o Representative: Gwen Foreman from MPG Volta Oil <br /> o Violation: Sale of flavored tobacco (Black and Mild Jazz Cigarillos) which is <br /> against state regulations. <br /> o Fine: $1000 mandatory fine imposed due to the violation <br /> o Discussion points: <br /> ■ The product was mistakenly stocked due to a wholesale error. <br /> ■ The company has systems in place to prevent such occurrences but <br /> acknowledged the mistake. <br /> ■ No previous violations by the company at this site. <br /> ■ The fine is mandatory with no leeway for first-time offenders <br /> ■ Future violations within 36 months could result in a $2000 fine and license <br /> suspension <br /> Documents provided: Email correspondence; Letter submitted to permittee <br /> 3. Discussion of proposed revisions to the Septic Inspection Regulation <br /> o Discussion only item <br /> o Updates include adding clear definitions and updating procedures <br /> 1 <br />
