Future of Recycling Committee <br /> The Town Manager discouraged the Recycling Committee from disbanding. The Waste <br /> Management Committee was established by the Selectmen with a specific purpose and term. <br /> Once they have made their final recommendations to the Selectmen, they will end. The <br /> Recycling Committee discussed starting anew in 2016 and establishing their own mission <br /> statement and goals. The initial goal may be to decrease trash/increase recycling voluntarily <br /> through education but the Committee may make their own recommendations to the Selectmen <br /> if unsuccessful. <br /> The Committee agreed to meet again to discuss their future in 2016 after the Waste <br /> Management Committee has made their final recommendations to the Selectmen. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.. <br /> Respectively submitted, <br /> Catherine Laure t <br />
