Ms. Zollo seconded. <br /> o Roll Call: Ms. Malone (Yes) and Ms. Zollo(Yes) <br /> ■ The motion passes unanimously <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> ➢ Grant Opportunities and Updates: <br /> o Discussed the need for Natural Resources representative on the committee <br /> o Suggested Ms. Fisher for her role in grants and water quality <br /> o Proposed amending committee composition document: <br /> ■ Inclusion of a representative from the Natural Resources Department to <br /> enhance expertise in environmental issues. <br /> ■ Consideration of adjustments to the existing committee structure to better <br /> align with current community needs and priorities <br /> ■ Potential for formalizing the amendment process to ensure transparency <br /> and community input in future changes <br /> o Discussed grants obtained by Natural Resources Department <br /> o ACCP $15 million grant and NOAA initiative grant <br /> ■ ACCP received a$15 million grant aimed at enhancing coastal resilience <br /> and conservation efforts <br /> ■ Grant will support projects that address environmental challenges and <br /> promote sustainable practices in coastal areas <br /> 1 <br />
