Conservation Commission has already met with PBA to discuss their concerns <br /> regarding the draft of Regulation 25. <br /> ■ PBA's Main Concern: The new Regulation 25 may be too restrictive, <br /> potentially prohibiting homeowners from undertaking renovations, <br /> updates, or expansions. <br /> o Request for EOC Support: Support from the EOC is requested for the final draft <br /> of Regulation 25 at the upcoming Conservation Commission meeting (date TBD). <br /> ➢ Review of EOC's Priorities, Strategies and Visionary Plans <br /> o Further discussion date TBD. <br /> ➢ Open Space Management Plan Discussions <br /> o Scope and Process for Open Space and Recreation Plan <br /> ■ The Committee discussed and approved the missions. <br /> ■ Mr. Oakley Jr. will distribute the information to the Committee. <br /> ■ Further discussion on the RFP is needed;Ms. Zollo will consolidate the <br /> information. <br /> ■ The state provides a workbook with recommended scopes. <br /> ■ Goals: <br /> • Create a detailed list of all town-owned properties, including <br /> deeded rights and/or restrictions for each property, acquisition <br /> details, and tax records. <br /> • Compile a detailed list of all recreational areas, including current <br /> amenities, condition, necessary repairs, and potential additions. <br /> • Identify additional bike path location opportunities that can be off <br /> the main roadways. <br /> • Develop a detailed list of prospective properties. <br /> ➢ JBCC Military Gun Range—Letter <br /> o Item to be placed on September's agenda. <br /> ➢ Discussion, vote to support and endorse the conversion of Mashpee Wakeby Lake <br /> Committee to Fresh Waters Committee <br /> o Proposal: Convert the Mashpee Wakeby Lake Management Committee into a <br /> Fresh Waters Committee, encompassing all fresh bodies of water in the town of <br /> Mashpee. <br /> o Next Steps: Mr. Weed en will contact Paul Bibo, the chairman of the Mashpee <br /> Wakeby Lake Management Committee,to discuss the proposal. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> ➢ Future Meeting Dates <br /> o Regular Meetings: The schedule will remain unchanged,with meetings held on <br /> the las Mondy of every month at 4:30pm. <br /> o Joint Meetings: <br /> ■ Discuss potential meetings to propose the formation of an Open Space <br /> Recreation Committee. <br /> ■ Address water quality concerns,including reports,updates, and <br /> communication. <br /> 2 <br />
