School Committee Finance Meeting Minutes February 15, 2012 Present were: Kathy Stanley, Jose Franco, Janice Mills, Scott McGee and David Bloomfield. Also present was Ann Bradshaw, Superintendent of Schools I. Call Meeting to Order Mrs. Stanley called the meeting to order at 6pm. II. Pledge of Allegiance III. *Minutes Mr. Bloomfield made a motion, seconded by Mr. Franco to approve the minutes of January 18, 2012. Roll Call Vote: In favor – Mrs. Stanley, Mr. Franco, Mrs. Mills, Mr. McGee and Mr. Bloomfield; opposed – none. IV. Business Report 4.1 FY12 Budget Monthly Report Mrs. Bradshaw reviewed the FY12 budget. 4.2 Status of Grants, Revolving Accounts and Lunch Program Mrs. Bradshaw gave an update on the grants, revolving accounts and lunch program. 4.3 *Budget Transfers Mr. Franco made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Mills to approve budget transfer #12-02. Roll Call Vote – In favor – Mrs. Stanley, Mr. Franco, Mrs. Mills, Mr. McGee and Mr. Bloomfield; opposed – none. V. FY13 Budget th The Committee will meet on Monday, March 5at 4pm to further discuss the FY13 budget. VI. FY2013 CIP Budget A summary of the Capital Improvement Budget is included in the packet. VII. *Superintendent’s Educator Plan Mrs. Bradshaw reviewed her Education Plan with the Committee. Mrs. Bradshaw st and the Committee will meet on March 21 to go over the Committee’s responsibilities regarding the evaluation. Mr. Franco made a motion, seconded by Mr. McGee to approve the Educator Plan as written by Mrs. Bradshaw. Roll Call Vote: In favor – Mrs. Stanley, Mr. Franco, Mrs. Mills, Mr. McGee and Mr. Bloomfield; opposed – none. 1
