Town of Mashpee Planning Board
Meeting held at Mashpee Town Hall on August 5, 1970,
at 8:00 p.m.
Present: Messrs: Richardson Jonas - Chairman, Joseph Delaney,
and Earle Marsters - Temporary Clerk
Absent: Messrs: Arthur Koch and Thomas Saunders
Fred D. Nichols submitted a plan under Approval Not Required
for Edward S. Anderson to split a parcel on Red Brook Road into two
Lots. The plan was signed.
Ernest Walbourne Jr. submitted a plan redefining three lot
lines on Kim Path in Popponesset. The plan was noted and signed as
Approval Not Required.
Robert Bright submitted a revised plan of his subdivision
on Sunset Strip adding a lot under Approval Not Required. A separate
plan outlining the immediate area was attached to the subdivision
plan and both were signed.
The definitive plan for Section D of Timberlane Shores was
signed by the Board and delivered to Mr. E. Fletcher Davis.
The problem of defining "Public Way" for the purpose of
subdivision was discussed with the Town Counsels. It was agreed that
they would again review this matter and they suggested that in the
future, if there is any question whether a way is Public then we should
put the burden of proof on the Developer.
Respectfully submitted,
