71 Echo Road (continued <br /> Committee comments continued <br /> Glen Harrington, Board of Health <br /> • Any painting/lacquering/priming done? Response "no", it's a bare wood operation. <br /> • Do floor drains go to contractor's bays also? Yes, Applicant said they will submit Plumbing <br /> drawings. They said they do show on Site Plan. <br /> • Glen said provide bathroom in each bay if doing individual contractors. Provide rough <br /> plumbing bathrooms for each leased space. Mike Mendoza noted to make sure to meet <br /> Plumbing code and make sure contractor's bays have proper number of units. <br /> « Contractor's bays need to go to Board of Health to make sure septic system meets <br /> requirements. <br /> Mike Mendoza, Building <br /> • Contractor bays to be a separate operation? Response: "yes", and they will be asking for <br /> relief. Don't know who will lease. Mike advised that once they have tenant they have to come <br /> in for approval. <br /> • If thinking about signage, Mike suggested they plan for it now. He advised that street number <br /> needs to be on sign. <br /> • Mike said there is a possibility project could fall under controlled construction of the Building <br /> code, <br /> • Lot is not part of pre-contact or post-contact archeological sensitivity area. <br /> Mike Mendoza pointed out that probably the biggest concern down the road is the contractor's bays. <br /> He said be aware Applicant may have to go back to ZBA. Also, Fire Department does have concern <br /> about the dust issue. Applicant said they will provide system details to Mike (Building) and to Fire <br /> Department. <br /> Applicant asked whether they could get approval prior to getting a tenant? Mike said he and ZBA <br /> Chairman Jonathan Furbush would have to review the matter. <br /> Conclusion <br /> MOTION: Glen Harrington motioned to approve with the conditions that: <br /> • The Fire Department has Knox box for the gates. <br /> • Recycling container for cardboard be provided. <br /> • The fire hydrant be moved with Water Department's assistance. <br /> • Revised Plans be provided to ZBA. <br /> • Request variance for loading dock drainage. <br /> Joyce Mason seconded this motion; and it was unanimously passed by Plan Review and by Design <br /> Review. <br /> 3 <br />
