Minutes of Combined Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee and <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Design Review Members Present: Joseph Cummings and Jonathan Furbush <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br /> Michael Mendoza, Building Commissioner <br /> Tom Mayo, Assistant Town Manager <br /> Thomas Rullo, Fire Chief <br /> Scott Carline— Police Department <br /> Audience: Sam Houghton — Mashpee Enterprise <br /> Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 9:10 a.m. <br /> 161 Commercial Street <br /> Applicant —Jack Carter, Jr. <br /> Sign Application —Classic Cars of Mashpee <br /> Free standing and building signs <br /> Jack Carter, Jr. appeared and said he is looking to put a new building at 161 Commercial Street and <br /> there will be 2 signs—one street sign and one entranceway. <br /> Street sign <br /> • Will be black with gold lettering on it. <br /> • Sign will be 7 feet tall; about 66 inches wide X 46 inches high; about 24 square feet; will be 5 <br /> feet off the property line; and will have a little roof on top. <br /> • Fluorescent lights under roof to give faint glisten down. <br /> + Will be on timers. <br /> Joseph Cummings advised the By-Law states lighting restricted to 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. so lights cannot <br /> be on after 11 p.m. Jack Carter said he will set timer so that lighting will be in agreement with Town <br /> By-Law- <br /> Entranceway sign <br /> • Will go in the pitch portion of the front porch. <br /> • 48 inches wide and 18 inches high to the peak. <br /> • Will be a car sign with letters in gold. <br /> • This will be first sign to go up. <br /> MOTION: Jonathan Furbush motioned to approve Jack Carter's application for 161 Commercial <br /> Street for Classic Cars of Mashpee for a free-standing sign and a building sign, as presented. <br /> Joseph Cummings seconded this motion; and it was approved by Design Review. <br />
