TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> January 7, 1993 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7 :00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Stephen J. Greelish, Steven R. Ball and <br /> John T. Doherty <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Stephen J. Greelish, Chairman <br /> 1. ) Warrants signed <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Board members, "Yesterday there <br /> was a spot inspection by D.E.P. of the lagoons" . "D.E.P. <br /> cited the town as both lagoons were backed up and the leach- <br /> ing pits were overflowing. " ".I authorized Mr. DiMaggio to <br /> make an immediate repair which involved strip-out of both la- <br /> goons for all solid materials and to clear the right drain. " <br /> Mr. Doherty expressed his disappointment in not being <br /> notified immediately and recommended the Board institute a <br /> policy whereby all Board members are notified immediately by <br /> telephone of any emergency situations that may arise. <br /> Mr. Greelish stated, "at that time this Board needed to <br /> demonstrateprompt and decisive .remediation of the problem" . <br /> Board 'members agreed each member will be notified im- <br /> mediately of any emergencies requiring immediate remediation <br /> or attention: } f <br /> APPOINTMENT: William Haney - Lakeside Trailer Park <br /> `Mr�. Haney was yin attendance 'for,ithis. scheduled appoint- <br /> men-E. - <br /> Mr. Haney stated, he has retained a certified water op- <br /> erator to monitor the water supply. <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Mr. Haney the trailer park is sub- <br /> ject to 'the new State regulations which require public water <br /> tie-in in the next few years. <br /> Mr. Haney relayed, he is unable to tie-into public water <br /> at this time due to financial constraints. <br />
