MII\'UTES July 20, i995 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "I visited the site and found numerous car batteries, gas tanks, <br /> scrap metal, tires, rims, 55 gallon drums." "I saw enough hazardous waste there to <br /> substantiate our using funds from the hazardous waste account." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "18 truck loads went out of this property today alone." "We <br /> received a letter of support from both Selectmen Costa and the Executive Secretary." <br /> "Mr. DiMaggio is loosing his shirt on this." "Eight hundred dollars is not going to cover <br /> his expenses even for one day." "There were 18 loads not including the metals brought in <br /> over the past few days." "I would recommend we have PK Contracting make the check <br /> out to Mr. DiMaggio the next time the metals are removed." "Mr. DiMaggio stands to <br /> recoup about $400.00 or $500.00 on the metals which will help to offset his excessive <br /> costs." " <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to direct PK Contracting to make the next metals removal <br /> check payable to S. Joseph DiMaggio, Mr. Ball seconded. <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to authorize payment in the amount of$800.00, which shall be <br /> taken out of the (Trash) hazardous waste account, to Mr. DiMaggio for removal of the <br /> hazardous waste debris at 1 l4 Orchard Road, Mr. Ball seconded. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> 24 Tide Run - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "In October of 1993 the Board approved the plan <br /> for 24 Tide Run which involved a sideline variance." The perspective buyer would 1i1K.e <br /> the variance approval in writing." <br /> Board members agreed to the request. <br /> At this time 9:13 p.m. SFr. Doherty motioned to adjourn from this meeting and <br /> enter into Executive Session, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> At 9:25 p.m. Mr. Doherty motioned to adjourn Executive Session and enter into the <br /> regular meeting, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> Being no further business Mr. Cram motioned to adjourn this meeting at 9:25 p.m., M-r. <br /> Ball seconded, all agreed <br /> Respeaffilly submitted, <br /> Veronica Mayer, Adm. Sec. <br />
