TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> June 15, 2000 <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball, John T. Doherty, L. Glenn Santos, Elias A. McQuaid <br /> and Veronica A. Warden <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING; IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1. Sign warrants. Warrants signed. <br /> 2. Approve Minutes of May 25, 2000 <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve the minutes of the May 25th meeting. Mr. <br /> Santos seconded,the motion. Motion passed. <br /> Approve Minutes of June 1 2000 <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to approve the minutes of the June 1, 2000 meeting. Mr. <br /> Doherty seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> I <br /> 3. Weston & Sampson: bi-monthly landfill/transfer station inspection and soil was <br /> well replacement <br /> Discussion took place regarding a broken vent pipe and the solutions for fixing <br /> it. Mr. McQuaid was asked to look into the problem No decision was made. <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> 4. Human Services Coordinator -Job Description <br /> Discussion took place regarding the job description for the Human Services <br /> Coordinator. The description had a discrepancy under the supervision section <br /> stating that the position would report to the Board of Selectmen and Board of <br /> Health members felt it should state that the position reports to the Board of <br /> Health. <br /> Mr. Doherty stated that he would not sign any payment vouchers for the <br /> position unless this discrepancy is changed. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to direct the agent to send a letter to the Personnel <br /> Department stating that the Board of Health does not accept the job description <br /> as submitted and as such will not fund the position and suggests that <br /> Personnel submit a correction to the newspapers or withdraw the current one <br /> and submit a new one or take any other corrective action relating thereto. Mr. <br /> Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br />
