<br />th <br />The Friends will be having their annual meeting on October 30 and Ann Macdonald <br />encouraged Trustees to attend. She then inquired if any Trustees knew possible recruits <br />interested in joining the Friends. They held a very successful event at Willowbend on <br />th <br />September 24 with author Emily Franklin. Local artists donated works for a silent auction, <br />which raised $3,085, and combined with ticket sales totaled $6,200. <br /> <br />th <br />They held their last meeting on September 25 with their standing President who will be <br />stepping down. There will be a newly proposed board to be elected at the annual meeting. <br />th <br />Friends meet once a month on the second Wednesday. Funds are doing well, as of August 08 <br />there is $366,000 in the accounts. <br /> <br />TRUSTEE EDUCATION/OUTREACH UPDATES DISCUSSION <br />st <br />Town meeting is October 21 with only 4 articles. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> MOTION: <br />Beth Geatrakas made a motion to adjourn the meeting of the Board of Library <br />Trustees at 6:47p.m. Seconded by Ruth Nickerson.
