2 <br /> <br />Board of Selectmen <br />Minutes <br />February 9, 2015 <br /> <br />Present: Selectman Taylor, Selectman Richardson, Selectman Sherman, <br /> Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Gottlieb <br /> Town Manager Joyce Mason <br /> Assistant Town Manager Tom Mayo <br /> <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Taylor at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> <br /> MINUTES: <br /> <br /> Friday, April 18, 2014 – Regular Session: <br /> <br />It was noted the above referenced minutes were previously approved by the Board <br />of Selectmen on April 28, 2014. <br /> <br />Monday, January 5, 2015 – Regular & Executive Sessions: <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Regular and Executive <br />Session minutes of Monday, January 5, 2015 as presented. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Gottlieb. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Taylor, yes Selectman Richardson, yes <br /> Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Cahalane, yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Opposed, none <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS: <br /> <br />Public Comment: <br /> <br />Mashpee Dog Park Committee: <br /> <br />Mashpee Dog Park Committee Chairman Tom Fox was in attendance with <br />representatives from the Dog Park Committee to present a check to the Town in <br />the amount of $20,480.30 which represents a 10% match and commitment toward <br />the construction of the new Mashpee Dog Park. <br /> <br />The Mashpee Dog Park will be constructed on a one-acre parcel of Town-owned <br />land off Ashumet Road across from the Heritage Park Recreational facility. The <br />remainder of the construction funds, approximately $184,404 will be privately <br />funded. Work is ongoing and weather dependent for completion in the spring. <br /> <br />
