10 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 25, 2013 <br /> LIAISON REPORTS: <br /> Special Events Application: A letter of interest was recently received for use of <br /> the Community Park to host a Farmer's Market. It was noted that this is one of <br /> the intended uses for the Community Park in the re-establishment project. The <br /> individual will be requested to complete a special events application which would <br /> require the Selectmen's formal approval. <br /> Schools: It was announced the Board of Selectmen Chairman will serve on the <br /> School Superintendent Search Committee. <br /> Community Preservation Committee: At their last meeting,the CPC Committee <br /> met with Richard York,the Shellfish Constable to review his application to <br /> restore shellfish populations and reduce eutrophication in the estuaries by seeding <br /> oysters and quahogs. The presentation was very informative and the Community <br /> Preservation Committee voted to move forward with the project at the May <br /> Special Town Meeting. <br /> Sewer Commission: It was agreed that Paul Gobell,the Sewer Administrator <br /> would be invited to attend an upcoming Selectmen's meeting to review matters <br /> associated to a possible approach to sewering with the MMR if a connection were <br /> to become available. <br /> EDIC: The new EDIC guide booklet has been published. The RFP for the sale of <br /> the EDIC property located in the Industrial Park is also in the advertisement <br /> process. <br /> Adiournment: <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to adjourn at 7:17 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalan. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Richardson,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Taylor,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Opposed, none <br /> tRespectfully submitted, <br /> Ka een M.
