f <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Mashpee Commons Advisory Committees 199/ <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> r , <br /> September 23, 1997 <br /> The Mashpee Commons Advisory Committee Meeting was called to <br /> order in Conference Room #1, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck <br /> Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts, at 4 : 30 p.m. on Tuesday, <br /> September 23, 1997 . Selectman Dinizio presided. <br /> Present : Peter Dinizio, Selectman; Kenneth Marsters, <br /> Selectman; and Robert Whritenour, ]executive Secretary. <br /> Absent : John Kuchinski . <br /> ` Also present : Robert Brais, office of Thomas J. Martin; <br /> and Douglas Storrs, Mashpee Commons Ltd. Partnership. <br /> The Meeting was called to order, Selectman Dinizio provided <br /> copies of Minutes of the August 22, 1997, Meeting for approval <br /> at the next scheduled meeting. <br /> Discussion <br /> Public Hearing-September 24, 1997 <br /> Mr. Storrs made reference to a "Community Alert" handout; he <br /> stated two hundred and fifty (250) invitations for the Public <br /> Hearing have been sent out. Mr. Storrs made further reference to <br /> a Draft Agenda with regard to the Public Hearing: Introduction- <br /> 10 minutes, Presentation-40 minutes, Areas of Review-la minutes, <br /> and a Question/Answer Period. <br /> Selectman Dinizio determined said Public Hearing to be an <br /> official Town Meeting, held at Town Hall, for the purpose of <br /> discussing a project being reviewed by an official Town <br /> Committee. (There was some discussion concerning the format of <br /> the Hearing. ) Mr. Storrs stated the purpose of the Hearing is to <br /> gather public input; a handout will be provided; architectural <br /> drawings will be displayed; and refreshments are to be served. <br /> Discussion <br /> Zimmerman-Volk Study <br /> Reference was made to Zimmerman-Volk Associates, Inc. , <br /> Memorandum, dated September 10, 1997, Mashpee Commons, Town of <br /> Mashpee, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, Re: Mashpee Commons <br /> Ltd. Partnership (Draft) . <br /> Mr. Storrs made reference to prizm categories (standardized <br /> marketing categories) and county-wide material . He is in <br /> disagreement with the conservative seasonality percentage <br /> breakdown reflected in the Study, stating forty-seven (47W) <br />
