MASHPEE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT/INDUSTRIAL CORP. MINUTES <br /> NOVEMBER 24, 2009 <br /> Present: Joe Noonan, Rene Read,Mary LeClair, Robyn Simmons, Terrie Cook, Brian Kchrl, <br /> Mashpce Enterprise. <br /> Joe Noonan opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall, Rm 2. <br /> The Minutes of October 27, 2010 were moved by Mary LeClair, seconded by Rene Read. <br /> Unanimous. <br /> The article in the Cape Cod Times regarding the Chinese venture has created interest and may <br /> provide jobs on the Cape. We are awaiting a call back from Mr. Whatley. <br /> Rene reviewed the updated draft of the Mashpee/Falmouth EDIC Initiatives. Rene reviewed the <br /> RFP, and he will send off the draft to Falmouth for their approval. We hope to receive <br /> Falmouth's approval before our meeting with them on December 8 i. Rene will make any <br /> changes Falmouth incorporates. We hope to acquire a$100,000 split between the two Towns of <br /> Mashpec and Falmouth. <br /> The RFP needs to come from one office, most likely, the Mashpee Town Manager. Joyce <br /> Mason, Mashpee Town Manager, will be the designated representative now that Rene Read is <br /> j leaving. Joyce is the Chief Procurement Officer for the Town. <br /> I <br /> Paul Niedzwicki, Cape Cod Commission, needs to provide us with input about the format for a <br /> presentation. <br /> Each EDIC Committee member needs to take an on-line test regarding Conflict of Interest Laws <br /> by April 2010.
