DeLory, Vice Chairman Charles Buckingham Wayne Tavares i The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.hi. James H. Kanter, S0+3-145 Agent: Holmes & N,c'rath, Inc. Lots 2 and 5, Seconsett Island Ken: Reads the public hearing notice -- to erect and maintain a single family dwelling at Lots 2 and 5, Seconsett Island, Mashpee, within 100 feet of a coastal bank in accordance with plans on file. Mr. Holmes: I have brought along three more sets of the plans. This is on Seconsett Island on the Waquoit Bay side. There are two lots that are being combined as one making a total of slightly more than 20 sq. £t. We have shown a house 26 .x 26 with a septic tank, distribution box and a leaching nit. The contours are shown on the plan and the locus is above the flood plain. There is one deficiency on the plan which I wasn't aware of sooner to correct. There was supposed to be a deck on the water side of the house which I don't show on the plans; andI can, of course, give you the re- vised plans to correct that. Ken: What is the deck size going to be? Mr. Geishecker: . 10 x 20 feet. Ken: Twenty feet wide and ten feet towards the water? "r. Kanter: Yes. Mr. Holmes: The septic system is more than 100 feet from the wetlands and provision has been made to make sure that the well and the septic system are 100 feet away from each other both on the locus and on the adjacent properties. If there are any ques- tions, I would be glad to answer them. Pauline: I was down to look at it. Charles: On this corner of the house, you will still be 99 feet from the water. Ken: This well is under the house? Mr. Holmes : Yes. Pauline: An existing well. Before 1960, there were no building laws or codes in the town. Mr. Holmes: Seconsett and Monomoscoy are very difficult.
