MASHP E AFFORDABLE O SING COMMITTEE <br />Minutes <br />December 2, 2003 <br />Present: Erie Smith, Alice Lopez, Louise Patrick, john Cahalane, Arthur <br />Weinstein <br />I. Call to order 7:1 pm <br />I. New Business: <br />. <br />Status for 1FP's for Heeds Assessment Housing Consultant — There has been one <br />bidder McGregor & Associates, a law firm. The ASIC voted to accept the bid. Eric <br />feels confident about working with this firm. <br />Question was raised about the fee for the consultant. Erie reports that the firm is <br />aware of the fee they will receive. <br />The bid will now go before the Board ofSelectmen. The BOS will make the final <br />decision. <br />. <br />No information was available on new Affordable Housing Conimittee members. Erie <br />will contact Zella. <br />C. <br />Assistant Planner report on Housing Land Trust meeting: <br />Erie attended the November meeting and learned that the HLT is supporting unit <br />project in Marstons Mills. They are also supporting a rental unit project in <br />Provineetown. Alice added that it is her understanding that the RLT is a group that <br />combines environmental interests and housing interests. <br />Erie recommends asking Judi Barnett to speak at The AHC meeting. The ComiTuttee <br />agrees. Erie will ask Judy to attend a future meeting. <br />d. <br />Review of Lettie Lane; <br />The Zoning Board of appeals ri11 hold a public hearing on the Fettle Lalie Chapter <br />application on December 10 even though the matter is tied up in court. Twenty <br />four units are being proposed. Detailed information on the Lettie Lane project is <br />available in the Planning Dept. <br />e. <br />1 lashpee Commons filed a site approval letter for 412 wits. <br />f. <br />Erie obtained a copy of Falmouth Housing Authority's Action Plan. <br />g- <br />letter to Diels Terri was read and signed by Committee. <br />
