However, according to the architect the actual square footage of the house is 3fiX
Mr. Lee requests that his property value be changed to reflect the correct square footage. In addition,Mr.
Lee feels that in relation to the other property on his street, his house is almost the smallest, and yet is
assessed as if it were one of the largest. Mr. Lee presented photos and charts relating to the valve of the
other properties on his street.
Nis. King noted that when the putt was pulled to build the House in 1996, it was valued at$300, 00
(excluding land). Nis.Ding explained that Dale Kelley(appraiser for the town)would have to take a look
at the house and re-measure the square footage. If the sure footage of'the house has been improperly
measur4 it will be adjusted. However,in assessing the property value there are other factors involved
besides the sure footage, such as when it was built, the quality of construction, where it is situated, etc.
Mr. Lee also queried as to whether his water district tax would be affected by the value of his property.
Ms. Ding noted that the water District Tax would be affected by the property value, and that if there is an
adjustment lowering the value,he will need to brim it to the attention of the water District for an
abatement.
Mr. Lee departed the meeting at 2:20 p.m.
Ms.King noted that Mr. Lee referred to his house as having only three bedrooms, while our records
indicate there are four(1411th -112 baths).
