TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> Board of Assessors Meeting <br /> Date: Thursday, April 11, 2002 <br /> Time: 3:00 PNS <br /> Place: Mashpee Town Hall, Assessors Office <br /> Attendees: <br /> Marcia King, Chairperson <br /> Les Greig, Vice Chairman <br /> Dave Bailer, Director of Assessing <br /> Dave Tatelr, Asst Director of Assessing <br /> Chairperson Marcia King called the meeting to order at 3:10 PM. Les Greig mored that the <br /> minutes from the 3/14102 meeting be approved as corrected. The Board unanimously approved <br /> the motion. Les Greig moved that the minutes from the 4104102 meeting be approved. The <br /> Board unanimously approved the motion. <br /> !Marcia ding made a motion, seconded by Les Greig, that the Board deny the three applications <br /> for real estate tax abatement listed on State Tax Form 155 dated ApdI 2002, beginning with the <br /> name Hellwig, 01gert and ending with the name Banner, Daryl. The Board unanimously <br /> approved the motion. (See Attachment A for complete list) <br /> Les Greig made a motion, seconded by Marcia King, that the Board accept the 14 applications for <br /> real estate tax abatement listed on State Tax Form 155 dated April 2002, beginning with the <br /> name Barrows, Earnest R and ending with the name Curtis, Robert. The Board unanimously <br /> approved the rection. (See Attachment B for complete list) <br /> Les Greig made a motion, seconded by Marcia King, that the Board accept the 4 applications for <br /> personal property tax abatement listed on State Tax Form 155 dated April 2002, beginning with <br /> the name C llini, Albert.J, and ending with the name Cavanaugh, Margaret J. The Board <br /> unanimously approved the motion. (See Attachment C for complete list) <br /> Dare Bailey stated that there are three or four tax abatement applications on residential <br /> properties still pending, because of problems gaining entry for inspection. Also, the 200 <br /> applications for abatement from New Seaburr are still pending, due to lank of required <br /> _ information on the properties, that has not been forthcoming in spite of repeated requests. The <br /> 90-day waiting period for receipt of the information will expire on 5101102. At this time the Board <br /> agreed that, if nothing is received from New Seabur , the applications will be de facto denied. <br /> The next meeting of the Board of Assessors was scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at 3:00 <br /> P{ I.
