Cemetery C mm6sion <br /> May 26, 2005 <br /> Members present: Ernest Virgilio, Michael S irpoli, Charles Hinckley <br /> Others: Catherine Laurent <br /> The meeting was opened at 4:00 p.m.. <br /> The Commission unanimously approved the minutes-from the February 17, 2005 <br /> meeting. <br /> The C rnis i n discussed the Indian Meetinghouse Cemetery. .The Commission agreed <br /> to send a memorandum' to the Town Manager asking fob-information on any discussions <br /> between the Town and the wampanoag Tribe on ownership of the cemetery. <br /> The Commission reviewed the FY05 expenditures. Approximately $500 remains in the <br /> budget at this time,, not including funds that have already been committed for certain <br /> work. The fence between the existing columns should be installed within the next - <br /> weeks. <br /> The Commission reviewed an iterm' ed_list of work proposed for FY06 with estimated <br /> costs. The larger work proposed at Great Neck woods Cemetery includes installing <br /> additional columns and fencing along the street frontage, completing the blue stone <br /> walkways, and installing section signs. The exact number of columns needed will he <br /> determined in the field. A lettered sign for the infantchildren's section will also he <br /> provided. The larger work proposed at Indian Meetinghouse Cemetery includes <br /> completing the top course of pavement for the drives. The Commission approved the <br /> work list as presented and discussed except that'action on the paving at Indian <br /> Meetinghouse Cemetery is postponed for further consideration. The C nuris i n will <br /> send a letter to the Town Manager advising her of the work planned. <br /> The next meeting will be scheduled when a response is received from the Town Manager. � <br /> The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.. <br />
