MASHPEE COUNCIL ON AGING <br /> February, 1999 <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT ALSO PRESENT <br /> Mimi Mullin Chairperson Jaynes Dong <br /> Frank Hicks Lynne Waterman <br /> Jean Noussee Elizabeth Nichols <br /> Robert Osborn <br /> Arthur Weinstein <br /> Aurora Bird <br /> EXCUSED Betty Jones <br /> Chairperson Mullin opened the meeting at 9:06 AM in the Lounge of the Jacobson Senior <br /> Center. <br /> The January Secretary's report was reviewed. On a motion made by Jeanne Noussee <br /> and seconded by Frank Hicks the minutes to the January meeting were accepted. The <br /> minutes from December, 1998 were reviewed. Motion made by Frank hicks and seconded <br /> by Aurora Bird to approve December minutes as presented today. Motion accepted. <br /> The Treasurer reviewed the Expense report through January noting that expenses were in <br /> order. Mention was also made of the Donation account and Formula Grant account. Each <br /> had hefty balances and were in order. On a motion made by Frank Hicks and seconded by <br /> Jean Noussee, the treasurer's report was accepted <br /> The 111n s of Shirley Peters was discussed. Motion was,made by J. Noussee and <br /> seconded by Aurora Bird to send flowers/plant from the Donation account to Shirley as a <br /> get well wish. <br /> The Director provided a written report which was reviewed by the members. Mention was <br /> made of a Gift policy, Transportation Disabled Guidelines and Space Feeds. Mr. Long <br /> presented the GIFT Policy in the"Guide to the CONFLICT OF INTEREST LAW for <br /> Municipal Employees of the State Ethics Cormm�issionSection . On a motion by Jean <br /> Noussee and seconded by Frank Fliers the policy was approved and accepted. Mr. Dong <br /> also passed out a Guidelines for Disability Status on CA Van. After discussion, Robert <br /> Osborn moved and Frank Hicks seconded approval and acceptance of this policy <br /> docurnent(see attached). On a motion by Frank Hicks and seconded• y Jean Noussee, the <br /> Director's report was accepted as presented. <br />
