Chairman Secretary Lynne Waterman, outreach Coord. <br /> Arthur Weinstein, Treasurer Betty Nichols, Friends of CIA <br /> Aurora Bird <br /> Frank Hicks <br /> Jeanne Noussee <br /> Robert Osbom <br /> The Chairman opened the meeting at 9:07 am in the Conference Room of the Carol H. <br /> Jacobson Senior Center on March 1 , 1999. <br /> Frank fliers made a motion to accept the Secretary's Report as written and't was <br /> seconded by Aurora Bird. So moved. <br /> The Treasurer's Report was handed out and discussed. The expenses are in order and well <br /> within budget for this time of year. Baty Jones made a motion to accept the report as <br /> written and it was seconded by Bob Osborn. So moved. <br /> The Director's Report was handed out and discussed. The Director requested haat the <br /> Board Self Assessments be completed and returned as soon as possible. The Director <br /> developed a grant proposal for a grant in conjunction with Leisure Services to orient and <br /> train senors in the use of computers. Frank Hicks made a motion to accept the report as <br /> written and it was seconded by Aurora Bird. So moved <br /> The outreach Coordinator's Report was handed out and discussed. 26 home visits were <br /> made this month and 4 new volunteers have been added. Arthur Weinstein made a motion <br /> to accept the report as written and it was seconded by Frank Hicks. So moved. <br /> Beth Nichols stated that the Friends of the CoA presently have a cash balance of <br /> $20,671.57 on hand. She also stated that the Thrift Shop will open in May. <br /> Mimi Mullin suggested that the Council think about having a day for rnemoroi s of the <br /> GREATEST GENERATION and encourage people to tell stories of bygone days. <br />
