CONSERVATION BOARD MEETINC
April 8, 1981
Present.: 4
Ken Pesci, Chairman
Pauline 1eoryp Vice Chairman
Dorothy Studley
h irl ey Na,d elman
The meeting is called to order shortly after 700 p.m& The members of the
board review the agenda for the evening.
7t45 Hearin
E43-171
Harry and Carolyn Vosburgo 134 Pond View Rd. : Dean's Pond, Mashpee- .
Agent: Tim Henn igan
Ken: Reads Notice of Intent - to construct a homesite at 134 Fond View Rd.
Irot
2). within 100 feet of Dean's Pond.
..Mr.--I nni an: Presents two letters for the file in which he notified abutters.
Mrs. Newnan is deceased and i contacted her family by phone. 1 sent them a copy
of. the notice in the paper. This is a very simple situation. The septic system
had to be located in the back of the lot to insure 100 plus feet within the wells
f the abutters and the well of the V sour 's. Everything complies with Title V.
We used the diffuser system here to insure 150% factor safety for retention and
detention time as opposed to the old pit bit. I see no real problem dere. If you
will note on 'my request for determination, I did, give you a schematic which was
taken directly from the town plot plan of this lot and the lot on either side of
it. Shows where Lot i is and Lot 3 is and where Dean's Fond is located. Shows
where there is some wetlands. It is at least 85 feet from the lot line to the
wetlands. As far as environmental and conservation matters are concerned, this
gill certainly do no.harm. There are wee existing-haves to the right which are
closer to the. pond, It is the only lot left on Fond View that has yet to be built
upon.'
Is this a one-stony house?
Mr. Henni i yes, it is a cape-type home.
Mrs,, .
Le!r
y;; ,., (abutter)i What are the d mins ions?
Mr. Hennigant Shows the plan of,the house and the maximum deminsions planned.
I rs. L ea3M.; , Asks if there are two stakes here now?
,.fix. Henn an: I m not sure. But this will be the relative position of the
Douse and where the driveway will be.
Mrs. Ler How far from the street is it
Mr. Hennigan: On the plan 111f equals 10 feet; so it will be 25 feet from the
street.
Mrs.- Le a are delighted that it will be a one story. 'hat is all I was .
concerned about.
