This debris in manor areas blocks or clogs the <br /> various waterways , i .e. brooks , .rivers , creeks impeding the mig- <br /> ration and then the spawning of the herring. <br /> In <br /> order to clear these obstruc tions , it would necessary t <br /> walk the entire length of the waterways and "hand-pick" such debris <br /> and remove it, There is no vehicular access . <br /> Ms . d.uPont said that she and Mr. Vergilio , Department of Public <br /> Works axed now Harbor Master) have discussed this situation <br /> Mr. Sharpe stated that portions of the Quashnet River, property <br /> that is owned by the Town- of M sh ee , are "bone dry" .
