Louise Behrman, Gertrude Ferriday, <br /> Carol Jacobson and Joseph Burns. <br /> ABSENT: Mary Marsters, Heather Urquhartf <br /> Elliot Rosenberg, <br /> Also present was John vark and a. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7: 25 p.m. <br /> NAS NET WOODS �- FORWARD DEVELOPi+ E ' . Alex Gittami presenting on <br /> pyre-application conference under the OSID bylaw concerning 384 acres <br /> located on the easterly side of route 28 from the power lines after <br /> the 151 rotary down to the M shpeeawFarlmouth town line. <br /> The proposal is that 271 acres on the we s to r l y bound of the Qua s hne t <br /> River will be donated to the town, In return, under OS M they will <br /> receive a► multiple of units which will allow them to increase the <br /> production in the developable area outlined in a dank border on the <br /> map presented of 113 acres with 583 units to be phased in at 117 units <br /> per year. If approved , it is assumed to be a five year project. <br /> Within the development the water supply will be from a town well as <br /> pant of an agreement with the Selectmen. They will be allowing a water <br /> use for the Town when the property is transferred over. A well has been <br /> identified by the town capable of producing one million gallons per day. <br /> $600,000 will also be donated to the Town for construction of that well <br /> and a distribution system across the River to the route 28 area and <br /> south to a connection with the 'down of Falmouth and north along 28 t <br /> a connection with another well system being put in that has nothing t <br /> do with this project. There are no well fields on the east side of the <br /> River or within the development sector. To the north of the site, the <br /> undeveloped property owned by Fields Point may have units proposed t <br /> be built. <br /> A. septic treatment facility .l l be located adjacent to the power <br /> lines as fax away as possible from the fiver. ' The exact specs of <br /> the plant have not been determined. An Environmental Impact study <br /> has been initiated. - <br /> He <br /> nitiated. YIe pointed out the white portion on the map dividing the property <br /> which is owned by Fish & Game, The River does not rest on the prop- <br /> erty line. The River, old cranberry bogs and uplands fringe their <br /> line, then it will go into their donated land and then the buffer r <br /> 0 feet, as required for the area to be developed* There are two <br /> r three small parcels in the area on either side of the utility <br /> easement and two small parcels within the well site. <br /> Concerning a question re plans to control access down River from <br /> the development, Mr. Gittaumi stated no fencing is planned, <br /> Ms Behrman stated protection should be considered for the more <br /> vulnerable slope, not to limit access but to ensure that unrepair� <br /> able damage is not done, <br />
