Louise Behrman f Gertrude Ferriday, Elliot Rosenberg p <br /> Joseph Burns , Heather Urquhartf Carol Jacobson, Mary <br /> M ar s t ear s. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 : 30 . . <br /> 7 :30 Vincent Porciello (Cape & Islands Surveying 1 Jehu Pond <br /> . Continued from 7/30/87, John Slavinsky presenting. He ad- <br /> vised there Was a meeting with John Varkonda and Mr. Porciello <br /> where he was present also, John suggested moving it further <br /> south as the bank is eroding at the steps, Mr. Porciello stated <br /> f moved , more vegetation Would have to be ,cut. The Notice of <br /> Intent does not state that l.t is the intent- to restore the <br /> embankment and maintain it, however, Mr. Porciello stated he <br /> would , He agreed to John's suggestion to plant indigineous <br /> plants all along the embankment and maintain it, <br /> Written comments from John Were read, <br /> Mr. Rosenberg asked if the 'building could be conditioned on <br /> the fact that the backfilling and planting will be completed <br /> and inspected before any other work is done, Mr. Slavinsky <br /> stated it would be better to let him build it as the order <br /> will state res tore and maintain. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday stated if the little steps that run up ,to the <br /> first landing ere eliminated and the whole thing brought back <br /> to the brick Walk it would protect from any Weight coming t <br /> the lip. ft. etas questioned Whether this walk was on theorig- <br /> inal plan and Mr. Slavinsky stated it was not, <br /> Mr. Rosenberg suggested the steps be rem ved on the landward <br /> side and the platform continued to the walk, Mr. Slavinaky <br /> asked, that this be included in the order of Condition. <br /> Ms Behrman. requested an amendment t t the plan to reflect where. <br /> the Walk is noir for documentation, <br /> Mr. Rosenberg suggested that no lawn be conditioned only in� <br /> digineo ►s plants. A landscaping plan will be requested for <br /> Commission approval also. <br /> It was requested work be stopped until an order of Conditions <br /> is issued, Mr. Slavinsky will advise the applicante <br /> HEARING CONTINUEDF TO BE CLOSED UPON RECEIPT of PLAN SNOWING <br /> LOCATION OF WALK. <br /> 7 : 45 Harold Cohen Wm, M. Warwixk & Assoc. ) 71 .Amos Landing <br /> Rd. , Continued -from /3 Scott McAskill presenting. The <br /> chairman pointed out that required scale is 1" to 20.
