MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION Minutes of August 24 ,, 1995 Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons , David Sharpe , Ralph Shaw , George Green Jr . , John Johansen , Elliot Rosenberg , Susana Lannik . Kathleen Terr'to , Asst . Conservatio.n Agent , was present also . The meeting was called to order at 6:55 p .m . y the Chairman . PUBLIC O ENTS= None . OO MEZ FEALTY INC ./Lakeside Trailer Park, Continued for 10 August 1995 . Mr . Sherman advised he went back k to the site today with the Asst . and Nr . Sharpe . The alterations that were cone did trigger alterations to the buffer zone . When they removed debris , they removed ground cover . There 1s no evidence of any threat to the pond . T hey are aware they have to file with the Commission for any such work . Th.'s is a long distance from any resource area . They have paid after-the- fact filing fees . He recommended a negative determination . Public comments Marie Soalley asked Mr . Sherman what that meant: He explained they would not have to file a Notice of Intent . He felt there is no 'Imminent danger to the pond . Mrs . Soal ley stated they should get permission for work they do . She did not know when Mr .. Sherman was last there , but there is still dumping at the base of the hill ; It is grass Clippings . She distributed a reap of the roadways in the park and pointed out where the dumping was done . They have pulled the fence and guard rails out . Mr . Sherman stated the permit will be written so that in the future they will have to contact the Commission . Mrs . Soal ley asked if stump dumps come under the purview of the Commission . There 'is one behind Arthur a esi # . Mr ., Sherman has informed the Board of Health; It is their jurlsdiotion .
