MIASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes a of 7 August 1997 <br /> Commissioners present; Join Fitzsimmons, Elliot Rosenberg, Ralph Shaw <br /> John Johansen. <br /> The Chairman called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. <br /> 6:56 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Deirdre Greelish, Water <br /> Commissioner, was scheduled but was called out of town and requested to be , <br /> rescheduled on the next agenda. <br /> 7:20 JOHNS FOND NORTH COVE ASSOC. for a Determination of <br /> Applicability on the construction of a storm water/run-off prevention system <br /> at 4 Shorewood Thrive. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised they received approval to remove an old boat ramp in <br /> disrepair but now have a run-off problem. He met with then a it is agreed <br /> some d of storm water run-off system should be in place. <br /> Mr. Robichaud stated it is planned to add a catch basin piped into the <br /> drainage pad. <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested when they get a plan to run it by Greg Taylor so they <br /> do not have to cone back. <br /> Public comment period: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion rude and seconded to find a negative determination. <br /> Unanimous Vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATIONS <br /> a <br /> 7:25 AL A MIHATLDs for a Determination of Applicability on proposed <br /> plantings and landscape work at 35 Meadowbrook Road.. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised this has been worked out as the result of a violation. <br /> They were scraping away natural vegetation. They stopped and will restore <br /> the area with plantings. <br /> Mr. Johansen stated there are taxes outstanding. Mr. Sherman felt it should <br /> be issued anyway, he does not want to stop restoration. <br /> Public comments: none. <br />
