MASHPEE CONSERVATION TION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of 19 September, 2002 <br /> Public Hearing <br /> ashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Commissioners present: Elliot Rosenberg, Stephanie Jones, Leonard Pinaud, Ralph <br /> Shaw, Michael Talbot <br /> Staff present: Robert Sherman, Agent; Frances Wise, Board Secretary <br /> Elliot Rosenberg, Vice Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. <br /> Public Comment: None. <br /> Non-Tearing Agenda <br /> Old Business <br /> 1. AFCEE abandonment of wells. Bob Sherman described details of this project, and <br /> stated that it could be allowed without a filing, since the Commission can allow <br /> installation of artesian wells without a filing. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve AFCEE's abandonment <br /> of wells as described in their recommended conditions without the need for a filing. <br /> 2. Benway revegetation plan. Bob reported that Mrs. Benway has recently submitted a <br /> plan which looks a lot better. However, he still has a few questions, so he suggested <br /> that the Commission authorize Michael Talbot and hire to make the final comments on <br /> the plan. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to authorize Bob and Michael to <br /> negotiate this plan. <br /> 3. Regulations Committee. It was agreed that this committee (Bob, Elliot, Mike and <br /> Len) will meet at Elliot's home on Thursday, September 26, at 7 p.m. to discuss <br /> revisions needed. <br /> . ,John Johansen Dinner. It was agreed that a pot luck dinner will be held at ( like <br /> Talbot's hone on October 10 at 7 p.m. Diana Lund and Bob will coordinate. Bob also <br /> suggested that attendees make a $10 donation towards a gift to commemorate John's <br /> nine years of devoted service. <br /> . special Condition 80B. Bob said this condition is actually part of the DEQ' <br /> requirements too. Every certificate of Compliance with plans prepared by an engineer <br /> or surveyor needs a written statement from that professional stating that the work has <br />
