Fordham Friends <br /> Absent: A. Rockwood <br /> A. Swenson <br /> A. Tanneyhill <br /> I Minutes of the August meeting were accepted as presented. <br /> III Reports <br /> A. Librariant Librarian's report was accepted; as presented, <br /> It was noted that there has not been a noticeable dcree <br /> in patronage following Labor Day. <br /> B. Friends: Pres. lay Fordham reported that fifty-,one <br /> dollars $51.00had been realized on the sale of books <br /> t the Country Pair. Also that the grant application <br /> had been delivered to the Kelley Foundation, and it i <br /> hoped that it will be acted upon in October. The Friend <br /> will meet on September 24th at 1: 30 P,M,, and the speaker <br /> will be a representative from the Ashu et Holly Reservation, <br /> C. gilding Committee: l .o report <br /> IV Old Business <br /> The clock that had been donated to the Falmouth Hospital <br /> or Mashpee Library is now storedn the Selander basement. <br /> It was decided that the librarian would write - letter .,to <br /> Mr. Reardon, Town Councel, copy to Mr. Joseph Murphy) <br /> stating that the trustees had authorized a user' s fee of <br /> five dollars $5.00 for out-mof-state patrons, and <br /> requesting a decision as to the legality of such a policy. <br /> V New business <br /> No new business <br /> VI Adjournment <br /> M eting was adjourned at :08 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Anne C.
