r <br /> BOARD of LE13RARY TRUSTEES <br /> SPECS MEETING <br /> TUESDAYTUESDAY9 JULY 6, 2004 <br /> MASHPEE LIBRARY <br /> Present. David Burton, Anti MacDonald-Dailey, Carlo D"Este,Dianna Smith,Fancy Stafford, <br /> and Helene> e `oe, Library Director. <br /> Absent: Heather Lakatos, and Alice Rauppius <br /> David Burton, Chairman,, called the Special Meeting to order at 7 p.m. and stated that the only <br /> item on the agenda for this meeting was to discuss and to male a recommendation of a new staff <br /> member as Circulation Assistant for the Library. <br /> David explained that out of 15 or 16 applicants, 5 candidates were interviewed for the Circulation <br /> Assistant position. Helene and David went through the applications of all the candidates and <br /> narrowed it down to the top 5 candidates. <br /> Helene,David and Personnel Director,Marilyn Farren, interviewed the 5 top candidates. Of these <br /> 53 2 rose to the top as contenders for the position in view of their qualifications and experience in <br /> customer service. <br /> Marilyn Farren, as well as David and Helene, recommends,appointing Susan Cannova to the <br /> position. Background check was done and all carne back highly recommended on Susan. The <br /> Trustees discussed the qualifications and customer service experience of the applicants, as well a <br /> Helene explaining the training process for the neve hire.
