BOARD.OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES <br /> REGULAR MONT V MEETING <br /> TUESDAY,DECEMBER 13,2005 <br /> AS LIBRARY <br /> Present: David Burton, Garro D' ste,Ann MacDonald-Dailey, Heather Laltos, Nancy Stafford,fancy <br /> Soderberg, and Dianna Smith <br /> Absent: Helene Deoe, Library Director. <br /> Chairman David Burton called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. and stated that this is the last Trustee meeting <br /> for the year 2005. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Ann MacDonald-Dailey motioned to accept the minutes of October 11, 2005 as presented; Dianna Smith <br /> seconded this motion; and it was unarrously passed,except Heather Lalatos abstained. <br /> Heather Lakatos.motioned to accept the minutes of November 9,, 2005 as presented;Nancy Soderberg <br /> seconded this motion; and it was unanimously passed,except Dianna Smith abstained. <br /> e orfs <br /> David stated that Helene is not present at tonight's meeting due to the passing of her mother. Helene's regular <br /> monthly report Will be submitted by Helene and reviewed at the Trustees meeting next month. However, the <br /> CLAMS circulation report for November was reviewed and discussed. Also, Janet Bur e's monthly report.for <br /> November was reviewed and discussed. Copies of both reports are attached to the printed set of these <br /> minutes. <br /> David then reported that he, Dianna Snaith,Nancy Soderberg, Nancy Stafford, and Carlo met with fat <br /> Costello, Town Counsel,and he was helpful and diplomatic. <br /> Bud et <br /> i <br /> David advised that the budget was submitted by Helene by the last part of November and that attached to the <br /> budget submission were several graphs created by Nancy Stafford. David circulated the graphs to the Trustees <br /> for their information. The Board thanked Nancy Stafford for the great job and effort she put forth in preparing <br /> the bar chart graphs shoviing comparative data between l a.shpee and comparable Cape community libraries. <br /> Fundraising <br /> David informed the Trustees of the recent e-mailed update received from Melinda gallant. <br /> New Business <br /> David advised that some of the Library staff asked whether the library could be closed Saturday, December 2 <br /> to give there the day before Christmas off The Trustees discussed this in depth, after which Ann mot* <br /> that the Library be closed on Saturday, December 24, 2005;Dianna seconded this motion; and it was <br /> unanimously approved. <br />
