Andrew Eliason, Chairman, called the Meeting to order at 1:05 p.m., noting that James Moroney.is not attending this meeting for medical reasons. Alaro al of Minutes...James Chisholm motioned to accept the minutes of the Meeting of Apd1 11, 2006; Lolita McCr y seconded the motion; and it was unanimously approved, Discussion Andrew Eliason informed the Board of a$300.00 stand-alone DVD recorder that would wort well for our Town Hall video studio. He explained that it only records; is a stand-alone operation. To play back would require any equipment that plays DVDs. Motion: James Chisholm motioned that the Board recommends to the Board of Selectmen t purchase the$300. unit; Maxine Wolfset seconded this motion; and it was unanimously approved* Andrew Eliason then advised that there is a$500. Titler unit that he is looking into and will get more information on it. In addition, Andrew said he would get input on the Tifler unit from Bill Shea and Bob Fen termaker.. Maxine Wolfset commented that here are things the amiga system can do but they never learned because the system is not user friendly. She said hopefully the $500. unit will be more user friendly. David DeWe chi ...I avid said e will attend MCAT meeting nest month tla and protide in-depth input but very briefly wanted to mention that on the topic of annual maintenance versus buying spare equipment, it is more cost-effective to buy 2 spares as opposed to annual maintenance payment.
