Murphy and Town Counsel, <br /> Joseph Reardon <br /> GUESTS : Cynthia Colbath, Christina VanBue en, Briarwood Residents <br /> David Ryan , V. Louise Behrran , Representative Cahir, <br /> Richard Halpern, Attorney Kevin Kirrane <br /> Selectman Thomas convened the meeting at : oo p .m. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mr. Lawrence moved to accept minutes from April 4 , 1988and to <br /> defer action on minutes for April 5 , 1988 Regular and Executive <br /> sessions pending an amendment . Mr. Hanson seconded the motion . <br /> All were in favor. Mr. Gottlieb was not present at the time. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 1 . A public hearing was held regarding .wine -and Malt Beverage <br /> license for the Seafarer Family Restaurant . Mr. Craig <br /> Falconieri* President/Manager of the restaurant gave a' description <br /> of the restaurant . Mrs . Thomas asked for comments from the <br /> public - there were none. <br /> Mr. Carter roved to grant a beer and wine license to the Seafarer <br /> Restaurant . Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Mr. Gottlieb obstained from voting. <br /> . Handicap Committee Representatives Cynthia Colbath and Christina <br /> vanDuesen attended to discuss Mas pee Access Day to be held on <br /> May 14 , 1988 at the Senior Center. All board members agreed to <br /> support this effort . <br /> Briarwood residents attended to discuss their concerns regarding <br /> the lack of progress regarding water distribution in Briarwood. <br /> Residents want imm diatet action and feel they have been put off <br /> for too lona. Questions, were raised as - to whether an agreement <br /> has been reached with the 'Iowa of Falmouth to have water supplied <br /> to Briarwood. Residents were all in agreement that the town <br /> should not wait for water District as r the Board -had previously <br /> voted upon. <br /> Mr. Cahir spoke in defense of the Board 'and asked Mr. Murphy <br /> if there is any"drealis t is solution . _ � <br /> The Board will not change their decision to support_ the Water —, <br /> District . liar o d."presidents were not i-s 'ied with the outbome <br /> , le meeting, <br />
