Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of January 9, 1997, fix. Doherty <br /> seconded. <br /> . Copy of letter from C tuit Civic Assn. re: Au at - Mr. Charles Costello, Ms. <br /> Mimi O'Connell, Mr. Ed Baker were in attendance for discussion. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "Last week there were two letters also addressing the Augat <br /> remediation situation which the Board decided to withhold comment until-this evening." <br /> "Today we received by fax. a memo from Selectperson Caf-yn also dealing with this very <br /> sane issue." "I believe the Board should discuss the four pieces of correspondence at the <br /> same time." <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "Selectperson Caffyn's letter is in regards to one of public <br /> meetings during which the Board was asked to consider hiring Weston & Sampson t <br /> review what Augat is proposing as far as cleanup and containment of the plurne <br /> migration." "I did receive. several calls from Sleetprsn Caffyn is regards to this." <br /> "She did request I contact her if we did not have f rods for this." "We did propose this t <br /> Weston & Sampson." "We are currently waiting to hear from then regarding the costs t <br /> review Augat's pr p s l.1' "once received we will submit costs to Seleetpers n Caffyn <br /> and the Finance Committee." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "Weston & Sampson needs to develop a scope of work. <br /> "They are somewhat familiar with the Augat spill." <br />
