Garland and George A. <br /> enway, Jr, 1 present. 'down Counsel ill at home. <br /> 4 <br /> 1, Mr, Richard F'urr of Furr Adjustors Inc, , Hyannis, MA, stated <br /> he would like to file a claim for the Town, on a trail basis , <br /> using the burnt old fire station as a starting point. After, <br /> discussion, it was indicated that after sixty days of vacancy <br /> the building was removed -from the town inurance list; therefore-, <br /> not eligible for a claim. Note : This will be checked out with <br /> Town Counsel. . <br /> Mr. James Acnes, Resources officer, asked the Board to consider <br /> replacing his present vehicle which has 2 ,, oo miles and is on <br /> its last leg. Mr. Ames feels it would be beneficial to have a <br /> four,-wheel drive vehicle. Said vehicle could be used, but in <br /> good condition, <br /> Selectman Garland said if the old vehicle is replaced, the neer vehicle <br /> to be housed at the police station when not in use for town <br /> business . Action: Mr. Ames is to seek 'proposals, An article <br /> may be placed ire the annual town meeting. <br /> 3. Donald Blakeman, member of the Planning Board, concerned with <br /> a petition submitted by Edgar Burroughs for the annual warrant <br /> for the purpose of a by-law- for street numbers, feels the petition , <br /> should be revised. Mr. Blakeman said the proposed by-law will <br /> not comply to all areas in town and then showed the Board a <br /> copy of his sub-division as an examtle <br /> Chairman Connell felt this to be in the purview of the Planning <br /> Board, After general discussion, it was decided to have the <br /> article which is requiring monies for this purpose to include <br /> the words , "entering a street numbering system for the Town" . <br /> Town Counsel will be - asked to prepare an adaptable by-law. <br /> . Mr. Elizabeth Simpson asked the Board if anything had been done - <br /> with <br /> one -with the list she submitted as recommended names to serge on <br /> r, the Advis ry Committee for the Ants in Ma hp e. Monies are <br /> available to Ma hpee via an Art Council Grant if such a committee <br /> is formed and submits an application by mid-March. <br /> Action: A letter will be seat to all recommended narks from the <br /> Board inviting them to serge on this committee . <br /> a Notion made and seconded to appoint John ?Ialone as a Cali Firefighter. <br /> Declared unanimous by Chairman O'Connell, <br />
