'Town Counsel , s t . <br /> The Chairman called the meeting to order at 2 :00. He recognized <br /> Joseph Michael l Co lsk of saga yore, who asked to be heard, by the Board <br /> relative to a complaint over an incident that had taken place last <br /> Sunday evening at South Cape Beach. <br /> Mr. Conick was fishing when he was approached by a gentleman <br /> i walking up the beach who said his car was stuck, and requested help. <br /> Mr. oick. gathered his f fishing gear-, -and went to the aid of the <br /> stuck motorist . While attempting to assist the man in freeing his car, <br /> a police officer drove up and confronted the two, demanding to see their <br /> licenses . He returned to his cruiser, apparently wrote up a complaint <br /> or charge ,, and thea returned the licenses to the two ren, stating, "I ' ll <br /> see you in court. " <br /> Mr. comick also stated that he had previously been accosted by <br /> a police officer when he was fishing on another occasion from the Town <br /> parking lot, and was told -he could not fish there after midnight. , Mr. <br /> omick protested that there are no signs there to that effect, and where <br /> can such regulati <br />
