}Board of Selectmen Meeting <br /> L <br /> April 1 , 198 <br /> PRESENT: Chairwoman B. Jean Thomas , Selectmen- Chester A. Garland and <br /> Willard Hanson, Executive secretary Joseph F, Murphy. <br /> GUESTS: Dog Officer/Natural Resources Officer, Robert Sanders <br /> 2 :00 p,m. - Chairwoman Thomas convened the meeting and opened the <br /> continuation of the public hearing on the' dog complaint <br /> belonging to Janet Korpela. Chem. Thomas noted that the <br /> notice of the hearing- was - hand carried, to Janet Korpela <br /> n April 13, 1983 at Friendly ' s Restaurant in Yarmouth., <br /> The reason for the two continuations of -the public hearing <br /> was that the Board dial not wish to take any- action until <br /> they were sure that Mrs . Ko `pela had received the notice <br /> personally-, <br /> el. Garland directed the , Police Department to, serve notice <br /> on Janet Korpela to remove ('Butkus" seventy. two hour's after <br /> receipt of notice from the Town of mashpee. Seconded. This <br /> is a unanimous- vote. <br /> Public hearing adjourned at 2 :05 p.m. <br /> Board also discussed the Application- for Small Cities Grant. The Board <br /> did not sign application because the charges recommended by Town Counsel <br /> were not completed. <br /> Board also discussed the Massachusetts Municipal Association Classification. <br /> The vote was two to one in favor. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Muriel McGrath <br /> Administrative Secretary <br />
