Mr. Earl Cash, Mr. Vincent Lopez, Mr. Harold <br /> C llln , Mr, Dan Pa iuca, Mrs. Danielle Lemeur and Mrs. Bernadine <br /> o k n e t t <br /> 5 <br /> 7 <br /> I <br /> * ► - Acting Chai an Hanson convened the electmen' s meeting. for <br /> April 4 , 1984. , <br /> Acting Chairman Hanson said that- with the 8tressing news of Representative <br /> C hir' s passing he asked that everyone - stand and have a moment of silence <br /> in respect and h .nor for Mr. C.ahir. Acting Chairman Hanson thanked everyone. <br /> Executive Secretary said that the Board should at this time reorganize <br /> the- Board as Chairman should be appointed. Motion by Sel. Terry to <br /> appoint Sel, Hansom as Chairman of the Board. Seconded by Sel. Hanson. <br /> Motion Carried. Chm. Hanson moved that Sel. 'Fern remain as Clerk of <br /> the Board. Seconded. Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Sel,, Terry to approve the minutes of the Administrative 'and <br /> gular meetings o March 28, 1984. Seconded by Chm, Hansom. Motion Carried. <br /> iAPPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> p.m,- Board held a public hearing on the application of Gl rr don <br /> Corporation d/b/a Soup to Nuts -for a retail package goods <br /> store for the sale of wine and malt at New Seabury Shopping <br /> Center. Executive Secretary, Joseph Murphy, explained that <br /> Ms. Deborah ,Richardson would be' manager and asked if she <br /> wished t ' speak on this matter. Mr. Murphy also stated that <br /> the. floor plan was available for review. <br /> p <br /> Ms.- <br /> Richardson explained that she feels this li,densewould b <br /> filling a need in the town and it would be convenient to her <br /> customers, Sel . Terry asked how much floor space this would <br /> take. Ms, Richardson said approximately 5%,. Sel. Terry asked <br /> if there would be any drinking outside or in the premises.- Ms.. <br /> Richardson replied that it was strictly take out, She stated <br /> that she has nearer held a license before. Sel. ,Terror said, he <br /> was in favor. <br /> Ch . Hanson made reference to South Cape Liquors and felt that <br /> where there is a license in the area another one was not needed. <br /> . Richardson stated she had spoken to the owner of South <br /> Cape Liquors and he did not object. she stated that she was <br /> not competing with them, this is more of a gourmet and- geese <br /> store. She would stock imported beers and wines. <br /> Chm. Hansom said that he- sees no meed. He feels the community <br />
