Jean <br /> Thomas, and Executive e c reta.ry, Joseph Murphy. <br /> Guests: Vernon Thomas, Ernest Virgilio, Anne Shaw, Arlene.Hoxie, chief <br /> Grey wolf, Selma Rollins,, Mr. A rns and several people from the <br /> Popponesset Beach Association (see attached list). <br /> Chairman Hanson announced that due to the number of people in attendance for <br /> the Popponesset Beach Association and New Seabury corporation meeting the <br /> Board will move said meeting to the Cafeteria., <br /> 7:00 p.m. Chm. Hanson converted the May 23, 1954 Selectmen's meeting. <br /> Sel. Thomas asked that the minutes of May 16, 1984 be amended to also read that <br /> the Selecetmen requested the Wa.t ry a.ys Com' ittee to review the problem of <br /> Popponesset'access and report back to the Selectmen. <br /> Appointments and Hea.ri <br /> p. m. Public hearing of New r Sea.bury Corporation to change the type of <br /> license and -description of premises. <br /> 1i r. Murphy explained to the Board that Mrs. Selma Rollins attorney <br /> for New ea.bury Corporation had submitted a. letter requesting to <br /> w1thdraw their application without prejudice. <br /> Sel. Terry moved to allow New Sea.bury Corporation to withdraw without <br /> prejudice. Set. Thomas seconded, Motion carried. <br /> Old Busines <br /> 1. Truck Bids - Mr. Murphy explained that the article for a new dump truck <br /> was postponed and the only bidder should be notified who was Mack Truck <br /> Inc, <br /> Sel. Terry moved to withdraw the bid of Mack Truck Inc. due to rack of funds. <br /> Sel. Thomas seconded. Motion carried. <br /> . Breath Testing Instrument - Mr. Murphy recommended the Board accept the <br /> bid of Federal Signal corp. the lour bidder. <br /> Sel. Thomas moved to accept the bid dated 3129/84 in the amount of $3, 486 to <br /> to supply the Police Department with a. Infra-Red Breath. Testing Instrument. <br /> Sel. Terry seconded.
