1 <br /> ti <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY JANUARY 23 1989 <br /> PRESENT, Selectmen Lawrence, Gottlieb, Hanson, Jacobson, Carter and <br /> Executive Secretary Joseph F. Murphy <br /> GUESTS: Theresa Hyde-Reed, Elizabeth Jones, Jane Stockbridge <br /> The meeting convened at 7: 00 p.m. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mr. Gottlieb moved to accept the Regular and Executive session minutes <br /> of January 9, 1989. Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. The Board noted a communication from Briar r od-1 ashpee <br /> Association, Inc. regarding a meeting held with the <br /> Association, DEE and E.C. Jordan Company to discuss the <br /> proposed wells for the study of ground water flow into Johns <br /> Pond from the Otis Base, <br /> The Board noted a letter Byrne Sand & Gravel C . , Inc, <br /> i advising the Board that processed material was delivered by <br /> Byrne an gravel for B. reni r Contracting, Inc. , to the <br /> Mashpee Elementary School in June and July, 1988 and that <br /> they have had a balance of $17, 920. 00 since that time. <br /> 3 . The Board noted a communication from Colonial Gas Company <br /> assuring the Board that they will closely monitor all <br /> construction projects to be sure all permit work is <br /> completed in a timely manner. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. The Board agreed that the communication of January 4, 1989 <br /> from the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination <br /> should be forwarded to the Personnel Board. <br />
