The problem is the original plan of <br /> truck access is in conflict with the Location of the temporary <br /> setae area that has been used. <br /> SOLUTION: Modify original plan by redesigning the entry road for <br /> trucks in the shape of a "T" rather than the half circle. This <br /> revision will not ,overlap any of the other site plans. <br /> Mr. Holmes will contact DEAF and advise -them of 'the change. <br /> With their approval, the contractor. will begin work. <br /> -chairman of Board of Health, Charles Lawrence , reports the <br /> 11potties" at South Cape Beach are in deplorable condition and he <br /> will close down the beach if they are not cleaned. A-John <br /> Company will be contacted. <br /> '. Board of Health members advise that if the maintenance crew will <br /> give the dump contractor two days ' notice when they can put the <br /> fence in, he will prepare the area. <br /> The Board of Selectmen declined to sign CETA' s Affirmative Action <br /> Policy Statement, as Affirmative Action is a State Law, <br /> Selectmen Minutes of 7/25/79 accepted and approved. <br /> Ralph Rocheteau,, III appointed as Special Police officer. <br /> Police Chief O' Connor reports that the Waterways Police have done <br /> an excellent job ire locating and listing registrations of approx- <br /> imately 350 beats moored or clocked within ,Mashpee which will be <br /> sent to the Division of Marine vehicles for a complete Drintout. <br /> The list will be gassed along to the Tax Collector. <br /> On another subject, chief O' Connor sows the Board one of the <br /> portable oxygen units that will be placed in the cruisers for <br /> emergencies. An in-service program headed up by paramedic Paul <br /> Frazier, was held for the Police/Fire De a-r•tment .,to use units. <br /> The new police/fire facilities were inspected by FmHA and there <br /> were recommendations made. Two dehumidifiers are needed for the <br /> downstairs of the police building; the other being a security matter. <br /> F .IA was upset because the water has not been hooked up yet. <br /> This will delay occupancy and will require the hiring of rightly <br />
